How to Find Your Kindle Email Address
Every Kindle device and app has its own unique Send-to-Kindle email address. Here’s how to locate it.
Why it matters
Your Send-to-Kindle address lets you email books and documents directly to your Kindle library. To use Slytherin Cloud's eLibrary "sent to Kindle" feature, you’ll need this address.
Step 1 — Sign in to Amazon
- Go to amazon.com (or your region’s Amazon site).
- Log in with the Amazon account linked to your Kindle device or app.
Step 2 — Open Content & Devices
- Hover over Account & Lists and click Content & Devices.
- On mobile: open the menu, then select Account → Content & Devices.
Step 3 — Go to Personal Document Settings
- Click the Preferences tab at the top.
- Scroll down to Personal Document Settings.
Step 4 — Locate your Send-to-Kindle address
Under Send-to-Kindle E-Mail Settings, you’ll see a
list of your Kindle devices and apps. Each has a unique address like
[email protected].
- Copy the address of the device/app you want to use with Slytherin Cloud.
-
You can also click Edit to change it to
something easier to remember (e.g.,
[email protected]).
Tip: The Kindle library itself also has a Send-to-Kindle address.
Sending to that address syncs documents across all your devices if
Personal Document Archiving is enabled.
Troubleshooting
- Don’t see a device? Make sure it’s registered to your Amazon account and connected to Wi-Fi.
- Accidentally deleted? Deregistering and re-registering the device generates a new address.
- Multiple addresses? You can send to any of them, but use the one tied to the device you read on most.
